 Through our strong relationships with publishers such as UBD and HEMA Maps, we are able to offer a significant range of customized products based on global, national, state and local map data bases. From world maps with company logos to expanded local maps of your capital city and regional areas, MAPWORLD can offer solutions for many different commercial situations. Framing / Block Mounting / Laminating

MAPWORLD takes pride in helping you present your map in the best way possible. We are happy to assist you with the choosing of the frame, the borders and glass for your map. For your lounge, office or games room, an increasingly popular decorative item is a modern map of Australia or the World, professionally mounted on light strong 10mm Foam Core sheet, and framed in stylish timber or aluminum frame.         

    

                     

                                 


Laminating is a great way to preserve, protect and present maps and other documents. A laminated map can be drawn on with whiteboard markers. Lamination also allows for stickers and pins to be placed on the map to highlight places of interest. Depending on your preference there are different thicknesses of laminate to choose from; a thick laminate for your nautical charts or a thin laminate for those topographic maps you want to take on a bush walk.

GPS Systems / Software Demonstrations

MAPWORLD staff are trained and experienced in the use of hand-held GPS units, as well as the application of electronic mapping software and maps. Demonstrations and technical assistance can be carried out in store, providing valuable support both prior to and after purchase. While the majority of products can be shown on the in-store computer workstations, for more in-depth enquiries it would be advisable to contact your local store to check on the time and availability of product and specialist staff. 

Genuine Antique Maps / Historical Prints

MAPWORLD stock and sell an extensive range of genuine antique maps from Australia and around the world, with the majority dating from late 1800’s to early 1900’s.  We also stock a range of less expensive historical prints. We can organise to have any of these items mounted or framed, making them  a perfect gift for friends or family, or a centerpiece for a room at home.
